Janice Dianne Flanagan

Janice “Dianne” Flanagan, age 77 of Paris, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at her residence.

Dianne was born in Paris, TN, on January 3, 1949, to the late John Cooper, and the late Maxine Bowers Cooper.

She married Windell Flanagan on November 16, 1991. Windell survives of Paris, TN.

Dianne was a longtime member of Springhill Baptist Church. She worked for more than 33 years with the Department of Human Services and later worked part-time at Security Bank and Trust after retiring.

She loved helping others and enjoyed volunteering at the Family Resource Center, the Good News Club at Henry School, her church, and in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. She also loved cooking and bringing joy to others. She was especially known for her chocolate pie, coconut cream pie, chocolate fudge, and peanut butter fudge.

In addition to her husband, Dianne was also survived by two children, Mandi (Adam) Jackson of Milan, TN, and Chad (Melissa) Hart of Dyersburg, TN; five grandchildren, Anna Hart, Ava Hart, Mia Osbron, Kennedy Jackson, and Aden Jackson; and one great-grandchild, Emerson Hart.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Pat Chambers and Ronald Cooper.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Jon Pope.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Joey Cooper, Chase Cooper, Chance Chambers, Johnny Foust, Alex Bomar, and Jason Osbron serving as pallbearers.
