Jean Cole Brewster

Jean Cole Brewster age 87 of Henry, TN, died Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Heritage Place Memory Care Assisted Living Center in Lexington, TN.

Jean retired after working many years as a broker in the Real Estate Business. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and all things related to food. Although she loved all food, she was partial to sweets. Jean also took comfort in listening to music. She was Baptist in belief.

She married Walter A. Brewster November 13, 1982, and he preceded her in death February 6, 2006.

Born May 14, 1939, in Grenada, MS, she was the daughter of the late William J. “Tiger” Cole, and the late Lila Dayle Hodge Cole.

Jean is survived by three children, Valerie (Cesar) Godina of Henry, TN, Lisa Cole of Concord Township, OH, and Alan (Karen) Brewster of Cedar Hill, TN; two grandchildren, Josh (Amber) Davis, and Bill Tinsley; three great grandchildren, Cora Davis, Kaylen Cary, and Farrah Tinsley; and a sister, Mildred Cole Arnold.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Her body will be cremated, and the family will host a time of gathering Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
