Jesse Robinson

Jesse Z Robinson, age 77 of Paris, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at his residence.

He was born June 21, 1947, in Bristol, VA, to the late Jessie Zackario Robinson, and the late Alda Ethel Baker.

Jesse dedicated 30 years to A-1 Wrecker Service. He enjoyed driving and was able to say that he drove through every Continental U.S. state. He loved country music, dancing, and spending time with his friends. He was a lady’s man and spent a lot of time watching wrestling throughout his years. He was known for being “old-school” and “stubborn”, but he had a kind-heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Jesse is survived by three children, Pam Campbell of Paris, TN, Marilyn Robinson of Paris, TN, and Jesse Z (Joyce) Robinson, Jr. of Paris, TN; one grandson, Michael Freeland; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one cat, Jack; and best friend, James Greer of Paris, TN.

In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Robinson; and one granddaughter, Tina Robinson.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is currently handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service starting at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Bobby Campbell.

Burial will take place at East Lawn Memorial Park in Kingsport, TN.
