Joe Lee Jackson, age 75 of Paris, TN, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at West Tennessee Healthcare- Henry County Hospital.
He was born in Puryear, TN, on August 8, 1950, to the late Levis Lee Jackson, and the late Madge Smith Jackson.
Joe married Marilyn Butler Jackson, on May 24, 1986. Marilyn survives of Paris, TN.
Joe was a 1969 graduate of E.W. Grove High School. He was a member of VanDyke Church of Christ, where he served on the benevolence committee. Joe served in the United States Army as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard in Fort Myer, VA. He went on to dedicate 30 years of service as an instrument mechanic for TVA.
Joe loved to be involved in youth athletics, including playing a key role in founding the Henry County Little League. He spent lots of time helping to mow and maintain Civitan Park. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with the Harley Owners Group and was a devoted fan of the Tennessee Vols and Tennessee Titans.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Kyle (Kirby) Dodd of Columbia, TN, and Kelley (Daniel) Escue of Hendersonville, TN; four grandchildren, Nathan Stephens, Hayley Dodd, Noah Lassiter, and Reagan Dodd; sister, Judy McClanahan of Mayfield, KY; sister-in-law, Pat Stutzman of Paris, TN; aunt, Glenda James; and nephews, Dana Mobley, Clint Mobley, and James Lee McClanahan.
Along with his parents, Joe was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Leroy McClanahan.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Randy Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery with Dana Mobley, Daniel Escue, Gary Morris, Alan Harris, Brian Patton, and Lenard Ashmore serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Lassiter, Randy Hart, and the crew at TVA- New Johnsonville Instrument Shop.
