Joe Donald Kennon

Joe Donald Kennon age 72 of Paris, died Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Henry County Medical Center.

Joe was a retired liquidator for Walgreens. He had previously owned and operated Kennon Auction Company as well as working as a Police Officer for the City of Paris. Joe enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting for good deals, and talking to others. In years past, he enjoyed scuba diving. He was a US Army Veteran.

Born October 19, 1950, in Paris, Joe was the son of the late James Burton Kennon and the late Imogene Dunlap Kennon.

Survivors include his two sons, Jason Kennon and Brian Kennon, both of Paris; a sister, Katrina (Wayne) Hicks of Paris; three grandchildren, Aaron Kennon, Ashlyn Kennon, and Landon Kennon, all of Paris; two great grandchildren, Balor Kennon and Marli Kennon; a niece, Traci (Jason) Wilson and family of Paris; and a nephew, Scott (Lee Ann) Savela of Arizona.
