John Patrick Doherty, age 60 of Puryear, TN, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at his residence in Puryear, TN.
He worked in the hotel industry for several years where he served as a manager. John was a sincere, caring man with a big heart who always thought of others before himself.
John was born November 26, 1957, in Miami, FL, to the late George V. Doherty and the late Frances M. Waller.
He is survived by one brother, Daniel A. Doherty of Haymarket, VA; and former wife and dear friend, Barbara Harden of Puryear, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
