John Sherman

John Robert Sherman, age 77, died in Flatwoods, KY, from complications of liver cancer, on November 28, 2020.  He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Sherman, of 47 years.

John leaves two sons, Mark John Sherman, wife Heather and three grandchildren, Ryan Mark, Samantha Lynn, and Joshua Xavier Sherman of Bartlett, IL.  Phillip John Sherman, wife Laura and 2 grandchildren, Alyssa Betty and Walker Phillip Sherman of Cary, IL.

John was transported for KY to the family burial plot, Bevil Cemetery in Paris, TN, and laid to rest next to his mother Betty Flaherty.  Chad Kennedy of Ridgeway Funeral Home officiated the service.

Service was attended by son Phillip and wife Laura and children, Rick and Janet Martin of Paris, TN, Betty Luse of Adamsville, TN, Beverly Cathey of Ashland, KY, Janet Woods of Catlettsburg, KY.  Son, Mark and wife Heather of Bartlett, IL could not attend due to both having tested positive for Covid-19.  Prayers for their health and heartache.
