John Thomas Willoughby

John Thomas Willoughby, age 78 of Paris, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at his residence.

John was born in Pontiac, MI, on August 9, 1947, to the late James Willoughby and the late Patricia Burnett Wainscott Willoughby.

In 1981, he married Shirley Tackett Willoughby. Shirley survives of Paris, TN.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Cheryl Williamson Goode of Paris, TN, Tina (John) Reynolds of Paris, TN, Darlene Williamson of Alabama, Randall (Tami) Williamson of Illinois, and Johnny (Angie Hopkins) Willoughby, Jr. of Michigan; one sister, Patricia Owen of Paris, TN; grandchildren, Marshall (Shayna) Marker, Emily Reynolds, Kevin Williamson, Kyle Williamson, Kristy Ainsworth, Dylan Williamson, Amanda Williamson, Megan Parrish, Mandy Allred, Annie Allred, Josh Allred, Matt Allred, Brody Allred, Gage Allred, and Jennifer Allred; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; a son in law Marty Allred.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanette Allred; one sister, Regina Owen; three brothers, Dale Willoughby, Gary Willoughby, and Thomas Willoughby; and one brother-in-law, Jackie Owen.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at Memorial Cemetery.

Brian Willoughby, Bill Baynes, Randall Williamson, Kevin Williamson, Marshall Marker, and Aaron Willoughby will serve as pallbearers.
