Joy "Joann" Murray Webb

Joy “Joann” Murray Webb age 76 of Springville died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at her residence.

Joann was born June 30, 1946, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Dewey Perry Ward and the late Bessie Marie Berry Ward.

She had formerly worked in the assembly department at Tecumseh. 
Joann was a member of Faxon Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending garage sales, playing cards and board games, working in her yard, and spending time with her friends.

Joann was first married to Mackey Brin Murray on February 1, 1965, and he preceded her in death September 22, 2001. She then married Bobby Webb October 9, 2004, and he preceded her in death December 19, 2021. 

Survivors include her two children, Sheila (Randy) Miller of Springville, and Brinnen (Dawn) Murray of McKenzie; two sisters, Doris Ward and Carolyn Ward, both of Paris; four grandchildren, Clay Miller, Christopher (Tiffany) Miller, Brin Murray, and Allie Grace Murray; five great grandchildren, Braydin Miller, Breanna Miller, Daisy Miller, Brinton Miller, and Layne Miller; four step children, Linda Murray of TN, Toni (Ed) Hackney of AZ, Michael (Michele) Murray of FL, and Jimmy (Kathy) Webb of CA; nine step grandchildren, and several step great and great great grandchildren. 

Along with her husbands and parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mava Brown and Bertha Kline; and six brothers, Thomas Ward, Odell Ward, Carlos Ward, L.M. Ward, Perry Ward, and Jerry Ward.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 11 am – 2 pm. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Randy Miller officiating.

Pallbearers for the service will be Brinnen Murray, Randy Miller, Clay Miller, Christopher Miller, Brin Murray, Braydin Miller.

Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
