Joyce Ann Harrison

Joyce Ann Glisson Harrison, age 83 of Paris, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Charter Senior Living.

She was born in Paris, TN, on December 4, 1942, to the late Edgar Lee Glisson, and the late Dolly Owen Glisson.

Joyce married John David Harrison on June 2, 1990. John preceded her in death on January 8, 2022.

She was a longtime member of New Bethel Baptist Church and was known for her loving spirit and kind heart. She enjoyed helping others and always made sure her family and friends were cared for.

Joyce is survived by one son, Bob (Dana) Bowden of Henry, TN; one sister, Marie Nash; numerous nieces and nephews; and several special friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Allene Sensing, Marcella Traywick, Ray Glisson, Lyndol Glisson, and Dennis Glisson.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery.
