Judy Carol Greer Ridgway

Judy Carol Greer Ridgway, age 76 of Columbia, TN, formerly of Paris, died Thursday, January 5, 2023, in Columbia, TN.

She was a homemaker who formerly attended Whitlock & Henry Church of Christ.  Judy enjoyed flowers, gardening, and cooking.  She loved her dog, Charlie, and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judy was born May 9, 1946, in Paris, TN, to the late Elsie Odelle Greer and the late Estelle McClain Greer Scott.

She was married December 17, 1966, to Joseph W. “Joe” Ridgway, who preceded her in death on October 25, 2006.

She is survived by her three daughters, Jennifer (Andy) Earls of Martin, TN, Jill (Dan) Quillen of Columbia, TN, and Jessica (Chase) Greene of Gallatin, TN; eight grandchildren, Ashleigh Burgess, Brittany Ary, Tyler Earls, Joseph Quillen, Logan Quillen, Rachel Quillen, Jerica Porter, and Jada Porter; and two great grandchildren, Samuel Burgess and Abigail Burgess.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Joey Ridgway; one sister, Jeanette Greer; and one brother, Connie Greer.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Rex Buford officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Earls, Tyler Earls, Chase Greene, Duston Ward, Logan Quillen, and Jada Porter.  Named as honorary pallbearers are Dale Greer, Gale Flood, Andy McCampbell, Dan Quillen, and Joseph Quillen.

Burial will be in Price Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
