Karen Ann Hodges

Karen Ann Hodges, age 61 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her residence.

She was a former teacher who graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.  She loved reading, loved crafting, and was Catholic by faith.

Karen was born November 21, 1960, in Chicago, IL, to the late Richard Wahl and the late Mable Covington Griffin.   She was raised in Gleason, TN, moved to California after graduating high school, then in her 20’s moved back to settle in west TN.

She was married in 2013 to her high school sweetheart, Douglas R. Hodges, who survives, of Paris.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Jill (David) Combs of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Beth (Tony) Collins of Dresden, TN; and two brothers, Rick (Ed) Wahl of Unionville, TN, and Michael Griffin of Milan, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Monday, July 18, 2022, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Brian Wimberley officating.
