Kenneth "Smitty" Smith

Kenneth Charles “Smitty” Smith age 75 of Buchanan, TN, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his residence in Buchanan.

Kenneth was a retired brick mason. He was a member of the Sons of the Amvets, The American Dart Association, and the Henry County Bass Club.

Born April 5, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Charles Edgar Smith, and the late Hazel Ryan Smith.

He is survived by his two children, Tia (Phillip) DePriest of Huntingdon, TN, and Scott (Carol) Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Tiffany Peterson, and Scotty Ball; a great grandchild, Kinsely Rose Ball; and his special friend, Wincie Wright.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was also preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip Smith and Richard Smith.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. His body is to be cremated with no public services planned at this time.
