Kenneth Dee Bratton

Kenneth Dee Bratton, age 66 of Martin, TN, died Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at his residence.

He was a self-employed carpenter who loved woodworking.  Kenneth loved to talk to people, going to the Take Me Back Café, and was well known for his many stories.

Kenneth was born September 14, 1955, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Charlie Marshall Bratton and the late Lillian Odelle Davenport Bratton.

He is survived by two daughters, Christy (Bobby Joe) Roberson of Obion, TN, and Rachel (Harley) Courtney of Latham, TN; five grandchildren, Autumn Payne, Hagan Payne, Britney Payne, Destiny (Luke Higgs) Courtney, and Gaberial (Lacey Hensley) Courtney; two great grandchildren, Braxton Payne and Harper Payne; one niece, Tammy Densmore; three nephews, Nick Flood, Andrew Bratton, and Scottie Bratton; and a cousin, John Davenport.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by; two brothers, Charlie Bratton and Jesse Creekmore; one sister-in-law, Pat Bratton; and one best friend, Randy Gallimore.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
