Kevin Neal Buie, age 66, of Buchanan, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Kevin was born November 8, 1959, to the late James Brent Buie and to the late Christine DeHart Buie.
On August 16, 1980, he married Ann M. Buie who survives of Buchanan, TN.
Kevin was an active member of First Baptist Church of Paris, where he served on the Audio/Visual Team. He retired from Henry County Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist in Sleep Medicine, before becoming a Co-Owner of K and B Supplies for Success. Kevin was a member of the Paris Lions Club, where he served as Past President and as Director of the Lions Mobile Sight Van. He also served as Past President of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he was a former member of the Emergency Management Agency, the Henry County Rescue Squad, and the Downtown Paris Association, and he served on the Board of Directors for Henry County Helping Hand.
Along with his wife Ann, he is survived by a sister, Brenda (Jess) Evans of Puryear, TN; a brother, Randall (Laurel) Buie of Henderson, NV; two nephews, Christopher (Lauren) Evans of Statesville, NC, Aaron Evans of Puryear, TN; an adopted niece, Michelle (Clayton) Olsen of Lee's Summit, MO; a special friend, Chad (Melanie) Howard; and two special dogs, Mr. Spock & Flex.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home and Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Paris. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Trent Bullock and Allen Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Puryear City Cemetery with Rudy French and Brian Wimberly officiating at the graveside.
Sam Bates, Bobby Wenzler, Marty Visser, Phillip Todd, Robert Whitfield, Jack Sparks, Mark Archer, Emory Bradley, and Aaron Herman will serve as pallbearers.
The Lions Club and Helping Hand will serve as honorary pallbearers.
