Larry Dale French, age 70 of Springville, died Friday, December 25, 2020, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was a retired supervisor from Clifty Farms. He was a member of The Lighthouse Ministries of Puryear. He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, and visiting and talking with people.
Born May 1, 1950, in Henry County, he was the son of the late H.L. “Kitty” French and the late Robbie Jean “Tutti” Lee French.
He was married April 21, 1979, to Jane Rushing French, who survives of Springville.
Along with his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Donna (James) Ward of Springville, Jeana (Sean) Norman of Huntingdon, Misty (Thomas) Tull of Paris, and Amanda (Jeffery) Higdon of Camden; two sons, Brian Dale French of Springville, and Jason Dale (Heather) French of Puryear; one sister, Barbara Gail (Eddie) Booth of Paris; two brothers, Billy Ray (Kim) French of Paris, and James Robert “BZ” (Diane) French of Paris; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Dewayne French, and one grandchild, Christopher Capps.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Wednesday, December 30, 2020 after 10:00 am until his service. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Robbie Moore and Darren French officiating.
Pallbearers will be Austin French, Bryan French, Ethan French, Evan Ellis, Eric Ellis, Adam Capps and Dustin Capps. Chad Allen is named as an honorary pallbearer.
Burial will follow in the Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville.
