Larry Cecil Tenley, age 75 of Mansfield, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Larry was born in Medina, OH, on July 10, 1951, to the late Earl Cecil Tenley, and the late Dorothy Virginia Smith Tenley.
He married Betty Kee Tenley on May 28, 1982. Betty survives of Mansfield, TN.
Larry joined the U.S. Army in June of 1970 and served until June of 1973. He later went on to spend more than 25 years as a Tool and Die Maker. Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three children, Jesse (Megan) Tenley of Ridgeway, SC, Vince (Angela) Cunningham of Elizabethtown, KY, and Matthew (Emma) Tenley of Mansfield, TN; two sisters, Karen Noe and Barb (Rudy) Maibach, both of Creston, OH; one brother, David (Laurie) Boley of Creston, OH; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two fur babies, Nelson and Bella.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Sweigert; and one brother-in-law, Bud Noe.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. His funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Jonathan Kee.
Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Paris.
