Lina Lou Nash

Lina Lou Nash, age 95 of Paris, TN passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026.

Lina was born in Waverly, TN on February 18, 1931, to the late Charles R. Allison and the late Sallie O’Guin Allison.

On August 06, 1950, Lina married Connie Thomas “C.T” Nash Jr. who preceded her in death on April 27, 2006.

She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and worked many years at the Holley Carburetor plant in Paris, TN.

Lina Lou was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend to many. A woman of many talents and passions, she was a gifted artist who loved quilting and oil painting, an avid crappie fisherwoman, a master gardener, a beekeeper, and a devoted cat lover. She was also known for making the world’s finest cornbread! Through all of life’s moments, Lina had a way of greeting the world with her sweet, quirky smile and lighthearted spirit, bringing warmth and joy to those fortunate enough to know her.

Lina is survived by her three children, Wanda Nash and Joey Nash of Paris, TN and Charles T. (Janie) Nash of Springville, TN; granddaughter Michelle (Mike) Conkle; great-granddaughter Alli Conkle; and many nieces, nephews, and caregivers.

Along with her parents and her husband, Lina was the last surviving member of 10 children. She was preceded in death by six sisters, Odessa “Dess” Cathey, Roberta “Bert” Triplett, Geraldine Lamb, Juanita “Bug” Allison, Clister “Click” Smith, and Evora “Bo” Hill; three brothers, Charles “Newt” Allison, Edwin “Pat” Allison, and James B. “Jimmy” Allison.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm with Randy Stephens officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
