Margaret Cooper, 89, of Springville died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at her residence.
A graveside service is scheduled at 3 p.m. Saturday in Poplar Grove Cemetery at Springville. Joe Walker Sr. will officiate.
No visitation is planned. Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge.
Born April 4, 1924, in Lawrenceville, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Ersil Armitage Hines.
She was married on Dec. 4, 1943, to Tom Cooper, who died April 29, 1995.
She was raised as a Catholic.
She leaves one daughter: JoAnn McDaniel of Taylor, S.C.; two grandchildren: Allen (Lisa) Cavender of Jackson and Jennifer (Marty) Mathis of Warner Robbins, Ga.; and five great-grandchildren: Zach and Luke Mathis and Ashton, Tyler and Shelby Cavender.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Jean Miles; two sisters; one brother.
