Marsha Elizabeth Hubbard

Marsha Elizabeth Hubbard, age 73 of Jackson, TN, died Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Marsha was the proud mother of three girls and grandmother of seven grandchildren.

Marsha graduated from E.W. Grove School in Paris in 1968.  She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Jeff Morris in Paris, TN, and Northside Dental Center in Jackson, TN.  She loved sports, especially football and baseball.  Marsha attended Fellowship Bible Church in Jackson, TN.  She enjoyed going to the beach, traveling with her family, and working puzzles.  

Marsha was born August 26, 1950, in Paris, TN, to the late Woodrow Culver and the late Dorothy Lewis Culver.

She was married November 17, 1972, to her husband of 51 years, Gary Hubbard, who survives, of Jackson, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by three children, Jo (Bill) Mayfield of Fort Pierce, FL, Melinda (Lorne) Halpenny of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Kellye (Justin) Shaw of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren, Lindsey, Taylor, Brenden, Carson, Addison, KadiBeth, and Micah; two sisters, Judy Findley of Dacula, GA, and Melanie Walker of Chesterfield, MI; her mother-in-law, Mary Jo Hubbard of Buchanan, TN; her sister-in-law, Judy (Don) Cox of Buchanan, TN; her special friends, Jan Alford and Ellen Lacy; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one grandson in infancy, Ethan Halpenny.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Brian Wimberley officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.
