Marshall Powers

A memorial service for longtime Dana Corp. employee Marshall Powers of Paris will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Darrell Pollock will officiate.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Powers, 58, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at his residence after a short illness.

His wife, Tammy Summers Powers, survives. They were married on March 16, 2009.

Born Feb. 18, 1955, in Atwood, he was the son of Margle Powers of Atwood and the late Norma Jean McKee Powers.

He also leaves three daughters: Marcie (Ben) Burkhart and Mandie (Tony) Schaefer, both of Paris, and Marquita (Darren) Robertson of Como; three sons: Cameron Young of Paris, Shane Blaski and special friend Marla McCaslin of Buchanan and Maurice (Veronica) Powers of Illinois; one sister: Brenda (Darrell) Pollock of Dresden; and 13 grandchildren.
