Mary Elizabeth Jameson, 87, of Buchanan died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She was married on Aug. 11, 1951, to William “Bill” Jameson, who survives.
A graveside service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Terre Haute, Ind.
A memorial service is planned later at First Presbyterian Church in Paris, where she was a member.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home and after noon Friday at the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery chapel in Terre Haute.
Born in Terre Haute on Sept. 1, 1925, she was a daughter of the late William and Cecil Mallory Jacks.
Her husband said she liked to travel, was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling in her younger years.
She also leaves one daughter: Shelley (Mark) Butts of Buchanan; a sister: Billie Kirchner of Terre Haute; one brother: Jim (Jody) Jacks of Terre Haute; one grandchild: Jani (Kevin) Adams of Terre Haute; and a great-grandchild: Kevin Michael Adams of Terre Haute.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters: Dorothy Jacks and Jo Ann Morian; and a brother: Robert Jacks.
