MaryAnn Grace, age 84 of Cottage Grove, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at her residence.
She was born in Louisville, KY, on July 1, 1941, to the late Fred Isom, and the late Anna Mae Duncan Stacy.
In 1964, she married Bobby Grace, who preceded her in death on February 10, 1992. Following his passing, MaryAnn remained close to the Grace family.
She was a longtime member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She spent time working for Mar-Kel Lighting. MaryAnn was known for being a “social butterfly” and always enjoyed spending time and meeting new people. She loved her family more than anything, especially her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Danny, and her grandchildren. She found joy in reading, playing cards, spending time with animals, and traveling with her special friend, James L. Smith, Jr.
MaryAnn is survived by her children, Carol Ann (Danny) Carter of Cottage Grove, TN, Steve (April) Smith of Montana, Phillip (Eva) Smith of Florida, Mike Smith of Florida, and Scottie (Crystal) Smith of Louisville, KY, Teresa (Michael) Woodard of Paris, TN; one sister, Doris Jean Estep of North Carolina; grandchildren, Michael (Bethany) Carter, Gene (Crystal) Carter, Stephanni Carter, Staci Carter, Brandon Carter, Beth Carter, Adalae Suter, Jude Suter, Joe Todd, Damon Brooks, Eli Brooks, and Morgan Todd; and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Regina Kay Grace; special friends, James L. Smith, Jr., and brother-in-law, Lonnie Estep.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Chad Kennedy officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Steve Grace, Donnie Grace, Ken Grace, Gene Carter, Michael Carter, Joe Todd, and Brandon Carter serving as pallbearers.
