Michael Deeter

Michael David “Mike” Deeter, age 49 of Paris, TN, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026.

He was born on November 22, 1976, in Paris, Tennessee, to Jerry (Cindy) Stutzman and Debbie (Jimmy Andrews) Deeter.

His parents, Jerry and Cindy Stutzman of Paris, Tennessee, and Debbie and Jimmy Andrews of Paris, Tennessee, survive.

Mike married Ashley Smith Deeter on September 16, 2017. Ashley survives of Paris, TN.

Mike was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He worked for Tim Boyd for many years before becoming a self-employed contractor, specializing in construction and remodeling. Above all, Mike loved his wife and children. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring his square-body C-10 pickup truck and spending time fishing.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Alissa Deeter, Addison Deeter, and Korbyn Deeter; nephew, Canyon Andrews; two sisters, Brooke (Elvis) Ray of Paris and Jennifer Andrews, both of Paris, TN; two brothers, Brian (Jessica) Andrews and Justin (Courtney) Stutzman, both of Paris, TN; mother-in-law, Jennifer Smith of Paris, TN; sister-in-law, Candise (Todd Edgil) Smith of Paris, TN; two brothers-in-law, Adam (Michele) Smith of Eau Claire, WI; and Aaron Smith of Paris, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his uncle, Gary Deeter; and father-in-law, Van Smith.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with some Words of Remembrance to be shared at 1:00 p.m.

Cremation will follow the service.
