Michael Thomas Trantham

Michael Thomas “Ziggy” Trantham, age 62 of Paris, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at his residence in Paris, TN.

He was born on June 22, 1963, in Memphis, TN.

Ziggy was a construction painter for many years. He was a member of Tennessee Valley Community Church and was once a member of the Other Brothers Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed fishing and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles on the open road with his friends. He took great pride in the custom bikes he built, which frequently earned recognition at area shows and occasionally took home top honors.

He is survived by his mother, Vene Neal Trantham of Paris, TN; three aunts, Kathleen “Kat” (Tom) Pryor, Ginger Hatley, and Bennie Neal; one nephew, Jason Trantham; and several cousins.

Ziggy was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Trantham; one brother, Jeffery Lynn Trantham; three uncles, Toy Neal, Billy Neal, and Bobby Hatley; and one aunt, Sharon Neal.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Barnhill, Lillian Allen, Greg Johnson, Brandon Boyd, and Steve Jones, Ed Adams, and Rick Holloway.

Cremation will follow the Funeral Service.
