Misao N. "Junko" Hart

Misao N. “Junko” Hart, age 92 of Mansfield, TN, died Wednesday, May 11, 2021, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

She was born February 10, 1929, in Yamagata-Ken, Japan, to the late Kyunosuke Takahashi and the late Kiyo Nagano.

She was married January 13, 1960, to Noble Hart, who preceded her in death on August 6, 2009.

Her devotion to her husband was unparalleled and she never stopped loving him, even after his death.  She loved talking to her flowers and working in her garden.  Junko always said “you have to talk to the flowers to help them grow.  Flowers will listen but never talk back.”  This is the way she was content to stay on the farm taking care of things and her husband.

She is survived by her two sisters and three brothers in Japan, along with many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2021, from 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Friday, May 14, 2021, at Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, with Barry Hart officiating.
