Retired Mar-Kel Lighting lampmaker Myrtle Louise Roberts,
77, of Paris died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Plumley Rehabilitation
Center.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral
Home.
Micheal Barnhart will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove
Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Jerry Melton, Bill Nance, Elwood
and David Roberts and Steve and Michael Stamps.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Born Sept. 16, 1935, in Far City, Ark., she was a daughter of the
late Clovis Nanney and Vanita Brewer Nanney Bridges.
She was married on May 12, 1956, to John Roberts, who died
March 18, 2009.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
She leaves three sons: John Roberts Jr. and Elwood Roberts,
both of Paris, and Rick (Judy) Roberts of Wasilla, Alaska; three
grandchildren: David Roberts, Lea Roberts and Elise Roberts;
and two great-grandchildren: Aurora and Leo Roberts.
She also was preceded in death by a son: George Wesley Roberts;
and one sister: Almeda Stamps.
