Neal Wilson Spohn, age 75 of Hollow Rock, TN, died Saturday, July 10, 2026, at his residence.
He was born in Mt.Vernon, OH, on September 19, 1950, to the late Jack Spohn, and the late Priscilla Paige Spohn.
He married Debra Townsend Spohn on January 29, 1972 and she survives.
Neal was member of the Camden Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a truck driver for many years, worked as an auto mechanic, and was a jack of all trades. You could often find him in his large garden or tinkering in the garage. He enjoyed watching the hummingbirds give him a visit. He loved his family, and his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. When they came to visit you could find him and the grandchildren in the kitchen cooking up something special.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by his two children, Wendy (Kurt) Velman of Montana, and Kirk Spohn of Hollow Rock, TN; daughter-in-law, Kathy Spohn of Hollow Rock, TN; five grandchildren, John Velman, Neal Velman, Madaline Velman, Samantha Johnson, and Mariah Spohn; and one sister, Judy Hill of Idaho.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. His remains are to be cremated. A memorial visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10 – 11 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Calvin Howell officiating and a time of family sharing.
