Opal Juanita Rector

Opal Juanita Rector, age 61 of Paris, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at her residence in Paris, TN.

Juanita enjoyed the simple joys in life, the comfort of a good book and the sounds of nature. She enjoyed listening to country music. Above all she loved her family.

Juanita was born June 6, 1964, in Dayton, OH to the late Eugene Rector, and Ruby Lowe Rector, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with her mother, she is also survived by three children; son, Steven (Angel Bates) Hurt of Dayton, OH; two daughters, Elisha (Gary) Amlin of Huber Heights, OH, and Myranda (Zachary Alexander) Rector of Dayton, OH; 9 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; 1 sister, JoAnn Snell of Dayton, OH; Her special friend Randy Stout.

Along with her father, she is also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Rector Jr, and Bruce Lee Rector.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. The body is to be cremated, with no services at this time.
