Pat Bailey

Patricia Lynne “Pat” Bailey, age 76 of Springville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at her residence.

She was born in Chicago, IL, on September 20, 1950, to the late John Joseph Yocum, and the late Ann Mae Lorenz Yocum.

On February 10, 1968, she married William Dunning “Bill” Bailey. Bill preceded her in death on July 12, 2022.

Pat graduated from Thornridge High School in 1968. She continued her education at Governor’s State Community College, where she earned her associate degree in nursing, followed by a bachelor’s degree from Lewis University. She later earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Chicago. Pat spent time working at Loyola University Chicago before going on to serve as a quality manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Pat was a member of Antioch Methodist Church and a former member of the Paris Quota Club. She loved learning, reading literature, and was the author of a book titled The Unlucky Ones. Pat was very family-oriented and was always proud of her three children. From a young age, she was a caretaker who always put others first. She enjoyed having family and friends around and loved playing cards with her friends. Pat will be remembered for her caring heart and love for others.

She is survived by two children, Melissa Mulka of Springville, TN, and Michael (Judy) Bailey of Oswego, IL; three sisters, Paula (Wayne) Pocius of Montgomery, IL, Kathy (Vito) Areniber of Berwyn, IL, and Sue Miller of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren, John (Kasie Brick) Bailey, Keely (Jose Cruz) Bailey, Rena Bailey, Liam Bailey, Nicole Mulka, and Patrick Mulka; and five great-grandchildren, Kaleb Bailey, Novalee Bailey, Mia Bailey, Weston Dunning Mulka, and Branston Mulka.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pat was also preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Moga; and one brother, George Yocum.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Don Williams.

Burial will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, IL, on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Pat’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
