Paul George Lind

Paul George Lind, age 83 of Paris, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at West Tennessee Healthcare- Henry County Hospital.

Paul was born in Boston, MA, on May 5, 1943, to the late Norman Lind, and the late Frances M. Dryetis Lind.

He married Barbara Glontz Lindon March 19, 1988. Barbara preceded him in death on December 19, 2020.

Paul proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a sergeant from 1966 until 1972. He was a member of TVCC in Paris. To his family, Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who would do anything for those he loved. He enjoyed playing poker, dancing with Mrs. Barbara, and watching hockey and football. Paul was also an accomplished bowler and once bowled a perfect 300 game.

He is survived by four children, Dawn Lind of Orlando, FL, Dorothy (George) Davis of Florida, Robbie (Maggie) Hastings of Sedalia, KY, and Ryan Hastings of Paris, TN; one brother, James Lind; 12 grandchildren, Eric Hastings, Evan Hastings, Zach Hastings, Amber Hastings, Sally Hastings, Charlie Hastings, Cody David, Travis Davis, Kyle Cockrum, Zane Hastings, Nathan Smith, and Katie Smith; and one great-grandchild, Bayler Lucas Burkhart.

In addition to his wife and parents, Paul was also preceded in death by one son, Rodney Hastings; three siblings, Dottie Lind, Norman Lind, Jr., and Richard Lind; and one granddaughter, Shelby Hastings.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Steve Gallimore.

Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery with Sean Helms, Dave Shears, Eric Hastings, Evan Hastings, Zach Hastings, and Darius Hastings serving as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Davis, Travis Davis, and Kyle Cochrum.
