Paul Villaflor

Paul William Villaflor, age 89, of Parsons, TN, formerly of Paris, died Monday, August 3, 2020, at his home.

He was a retired X-Ray Tech at Henry County Medical Center and was a member of Parsons First United Methodist Church. Paul was a former long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Paris.  He was a retired US Army veteran who served in the Korean War.

Paul is survived by his wife, Carrie McFadden Villaflor of Parsons,TN; two sons, Tom (Debbie) Villaflor of Murray, KY, and  Chris (Pam) Villaflor of Parsons; a sister, Joy Peters of CA; a brother, Mike Orgazan, of CO; five grandchildren, Melissa Villaflor, Eric (Crystal) Villaflor, Leslie (Stephen) Box, Lee (Lauren) Villaflor, and Laura (Jonny) Wilson; and six great-grandchildren, Isaiah Villaflor, Zoey Villaflor, Ivy Villaflor, Brooks Villaflor, Addison Box , and Jenna Box.

Born August 22, 1930, in Bakersfield, CA, he was the son of the late P.E. “Teles” Villaflor and the late Dorothy Mae Kavley Orgazan.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Advir Smith, and Doug Villaflor; and one sister, Diane Trasvina.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 5 - 7 pm at Parsons First United Methodist Church, 49 E. 3rd St, Parsons, TN 38363, and  continue on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from  9 - 11 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242.  The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley officiating.

Burial with Military Honors will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.

If attending the visitation or funeral service, the family requests that you wear a mask and practice social distancing. Please do not bring food to the visitation.
