Robert F. Wimberley, age 92 of Paris, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Eiffel Gardens Assisted Living.

Robert was born in Trigg County, KY, on March 4, 1933, to the late John Rudie Wimberley, and the late Marie Sills Wimberley.

He married the love of his life, Betty S. Craig Wimberley, on September 10, 1954. They were married for more than 72 years. Betty survives of Paris, TN.

Robert was an avid golfer who also enjoyed farming and woodworking. He served as a deacon at McDavid’s Grove Baptist Church and was a member of the Springville Masonic Lodge #153. Above all, he deeply loved his wife and his family.

Along with his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Lisa Anderson of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Lindsey Beth (Matt) Them of Columbus, OH, Ralph C. (Marcie Purdy) Anderson III, of Columbus, OH, and Catherine Buffalo of Louisville, KY; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden Them and Ava Them.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Wimberley Buffalo; one son-in-law, Ralph C. "Dooder" Anderson, Jr.; three sisters, Mary Elvin, Virginia Dare, and Margaret Louise; and three brothers, J.R. Wimberley, Homer Sills Wimberley, and Bailey Smith Wimberley.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Craig Farmer Family Cemetery, Springville, TN, at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Charlie Cate.

Serving as pallbearers will be the Craig Family.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rod Callicott, Coy Callicott, Todd Wimberley, Cory Wimberley, Will Foust, Jesse Cooley, and Vincent O’Connell.
