Robert Paul “Bob” Brown, age 86 of Paris, died Friday, August 7, 2020, at his residence.
Bob retired as a supervisor for AT&T, then worked for Orlando Business Telephone Systems where he was a senior project manager. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, FL, and was an avid turkey hunter.
Born July 26, 1934 in Rockport, WV, he was the son of the late P.A. Brown and the late Myrtle Jane Wildman Brown.
He married Lois Frances Conrad Brown October 8, 1955, and she survives of Paris, TN.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a` daughter, Karen Sue Bennett of Sugarland, TX; four sons, Robert P. (Michelle) Brown, Jr., of Parkersburg, WV, Gordon A. (Lisa) Brown of Midleburg, FL, Jeffrey L. (Annette) Brown of Laplace, LA, and Douglass E. (Dana) Brown of Ledbetter, KY; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Bennett, and Freda Smith; two brothers, Hubert Brown, and Jack Brown; and one son-in-law, Duane Bennett.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday August 12, 2020, at 3:00 pm in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Robert Alfred officiating.
Serving as pallbearers for the service will be Gordon Allen Brown II, Christopher F. Brown, Mitchell D. Brown, Scott M. Baker, Paul W. Brown, and Ronald A. Brown.
Burial will follow in the Allmond Cemetery in Paris.
