Ronald Odell Minor

Ronald Odell Minor, age 52 of Puryear, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Ron was deeply loved and admired by all who knew him. He dedicated more than ten years to Trinity Health Michigan before making his home in Puryear, TN. Most recently, he served as a Maintenance Technician for the Henry County School System, where his smile, personality, and kindness touched countless lives. Known for his signature dimples and remarkable ability to fix anything, Ron was always approachable and willing to lend a hand. He found great joy in riding his Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. He was known for always having his 2 liters of Diet Mt. Dew with him.

He was married on August 30, 2014, to Laurie Cassidy Minor, who survives of Puryear.

Born September 20, 1973, in Muskegon, MI, he was the son of the late Fred Minor and the late Gloria Dude Minor.

Along with his wife, he was also survived by three children, Kya Minor, Aleena Minor, and Gage Minor, all of Muskegon, MI; five stepchildren, Ashley Greco, Victoria (Alex) Dupra, Lauren Hasper, Kaitlyn Hasper, and Joseph Hasper; a sister-in-law, Carla Minor of Grand Haven, MI; an aunt, Sandy Dade, a bonus daughter, Makynzie Roy; and a cousin, Brian (Donna) Bloom of Twin Lakes, MI.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Minor.

Ridgeway Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm with a Memorial Service to be held Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Larry Dukes officiating.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be James McClain, Tony Sikes, Stacy McDonald, and Brian Bloom.
