Rosa Lee Hatcher, age 91 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at her residence.
She worked for several years at Sears in Paris. She loved playing cards, reading, and spending time with her family. Rosa enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center for lunch with her friends and playing Bingo. She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ for many years.
Rosa was born May 24, 1930, in Paris, to the late Ernest Collins and the late Nell Brundridge Collins.
She was married to Thomas Edward “Tom” Hatcher, who preceded her in death on August 31, 1998.
She is survived by her son, Keith “Hecktor” (Sandra) Hatcher of Paris; her son-in-law, Bill “Creekwater” Johnson of Paris; one sister-in-law, Virginia Collins of Paris; six grandchildren, Tisha (Tony) Brown, Brishan (Jill) Hatcher, Randy Presson, Tasha Cross, Thomas (Nicole) Johnson, and Tanah Hatcher; and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Johnson; five sisters, Sunshine Flood, Irma Cook, Valerie Robinson, Margie Perry, and Merle Robbins; two brothers, Walter Collins and Ernest “Buck” Collins; and one granddaughter, Heather Presson.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Friday, May 28, 2021, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with John Dale and Brishan Hatcher officiating.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, TN.
