Ruby Nell Isbell

Ruby Nell Isbell, age 77 of Memphis, TN, formerly of Henry County, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Ruby Nell was born in Memphis, TN, on January 21, 1948, to the late Paul Pannell, Sr., and the late Tincie Isbell Pannell.

On October 16, 1971, she married Donald Ray Isbell, Sr., who survives of Memphis, TN.

Ruby Nell placed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above all else. She loved line dancing and cooking, especially baking her famous chocolate pies. She also found great joy in helping others.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Linda Gibbons of Memphis, TN, Lisa Sanderson of Memphis, TN, Donald Ray “Donnie” (Dawn) Isbell, Jr., of Sebring, FL, Crissy (Buddy) Fuller of McKenzie, TN, and Angie Wofford of Paris, TN; one brother, Paul Pannell, Jr., of Mississippi; one sister, Wanda Jean Blackwell of Covington, GA; ten grandchildren, Joe, Jessica, Brandon, Christina, David, Danielle, Crystal, Chip, Jesse, and Lori; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Louise Climer, one brother, Jimmy Lee Pannell; one infant brother, Leonard Samuel Pannell; and one infant son, Frankie Allen Isbell.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Bro. Johnny Patterson.

Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.
