Russell Blaine Johnson

Russell Blaine Johnson, age 63 of Huron, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at his residence.

Russell was born July 14, 1962, in Paris, TN, to the late John Perry Johnson, Sr., and the late Dixie Ann Adams Robinson.

He married Janet “Jill” Brazelton McDonald in 2007. Jill survives of Huron, TN.

Russell was a lifelong Methodist and was raised at First United Methodist Church in Paris. He had a passion for motorcycles, flying RC airplanes, HAM radios, traveling with his wife, and camping in the mountains.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three stepchildren, Nicole McDonald, Duncan McDonald, and Ian McDonald; step grandchild, Marshall McDonald; one sister, Andrea (Kevin) Garner of Huron, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Along with his parents, Russell was preceded in death by one brother, John Perry Johnson, Jr., and one sister, Vivian Gail Johnson.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. His remains are to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
