Kaye Brogdon

Sandra Kaye Brogdon, age 84 of Paris, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her residence.

Kaye was born in Gleason, TN, on April 9, 1941, to the late James Harold Heath, and the late Marjorie Owen Heath.

She married Jerry L. Brogdon on June 4, 1960. Jerry survives, of Paris, TN.

Kaye graduated from Grove High School in 1959. She worked for the Mitchum Company and devoted time to her family’s restaurant, Kay’s Steakhouse. Kaye and Jerry played a key role in founding Joe and Jerry’s Car Care, a family business that has served as a staple in the Henry County community for over 60 years.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Kaye enjoyed fishing, playing cards with family and friends, tending to her flowers, and, above all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Kaye is survived by two sons, Jeff (Gina) Brogdon of Paris, TN, and Stacy (Melissa) Brogdon of Paris, TN; one sister, Phyllis Clayton; two brothers, Steven (Judie) Heath, and Tommy (Lajeanna) Heath; eight grandchildren, Kelsey (Dylan) Casteel, Olivia Cate (Blake) Cossey, Hunter (Ashley) Brogdon, Tyler (Kori) Brogdon, Weston (Jaryn) Brogdon, Kara Brogdon, Emma (J.C.) Eubanks, and Brady Hawkins; seven great-grandchildren, Maddox Brogdon, Sutton Brogdon, Wylie Brogdon, Eli Brogdon, Blair Brogdon, Reese Brogdon, and Charlie Brooks Cossey; three sisters-in-law, Jane Heath, Sharyn Heath, and Jean Brogdon; five nieces, Amy Odom, Christie Lindsey, Kim Kokkonen, Holly Marlar, and Gina Arevela; and five nephews, Shane Heath, Brad Heath, Jerry Heath, Tom Heath, and James Heath.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lonnie Heath, Roger Heath, Kenneth Heath, and Gary “Cotton” Heath, and one brother-in-law, Joe Brogdon.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Ridgeway Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Glynn Orr.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Weston Brogdon, Tyler Brogdon, Hunter Brogdon, Brady Hawkins, Blake Cossey, Dylan Casteel, J.C. Eubanks, and Christian Cathey serving as pallbearers. Barry Brogdon, Steve Clendenin, Tommy Heath, and the members of New Hope Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
