Sandy Gallimore

It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Nicole Gallimore announces her passing at age 41, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY. She passed away while surrounded by her loved ones, and her infectious joy and free spirit will be deeply missed by many in her hometown of Puryear, TN and far beyond.

Sandy was a talented licensed massage therapist with a private practice in Paris, TN. She enjoyed hiking, flying kites, gardening, and any activity that allowed her to be outdoors, whether alone or with her cherished sisters, friends and loved ones. She was an avid reader and loved to watch and rewatch episodes of the sitcom “Friends.” Sandy was a volunteer fire fighter for the Puryear Community. Tending to her indoor plants, and spending time with her yellow lab, Mija, gave her immense joy.

She was married April 16, 2009, to Mitchell Lynn Gallimore, who survives of Puryear, TN.

Born October 16, 1984, in Carrollton, TX, she was the daughter of Jim and Marsha Morris Reason, who survive of Paducah, KY.

Along with her husband, Mitch, and her parents, she is survived by a son, James Macklin Gallimore; three sisters, Stacey Reason of Aiglsbach, Germany, Claire (Samuel) Underwood of Evansville, IN, and Caren (Dallas) Reason Parker of Paducah; and a grandmother, Verna Reason of Paducah.

Sandy was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Anne Reason.

Sandy loved learning about bodies and desired to contribute to another life or to science. She was unable to give others a final gift of hope, but she remains an organ donor in spirit and would have encouraged all to register for the same.

Ridgeway Funeral Home at 201 Dunlap St., P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow the service.
