Sharon Mosley Harrington, age 76 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, February 11, 2023, at AHC of Paris.
She received her bachelors and master’s degrees from Memphis State University. Sharon taught in the Memphis City Schools in Memphis, TN, from 1971-1985. After moving to Paris, she taught in Benton County & Henry County school systems from 1985-early 2000’s. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paris.
Sharon was born December 25, 1946, in Memphis, TN, to the late James A. Roberts and the late Mary Parkes Roberts.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Cronin of Paris, TN, and Deena (Gary) Nance of Paris, TN; one brother, James Roberts of Horn Lake, MS; six grandchildren: Elizabeth Cronin, Ethan Cronin, Morgan Nance and fiancé Nathan Williams, Alli Nance (Houston Moore), Jordan Nance, and Kenzie Nance; and special friend, Joe “Redbear” Harrington of Hollow Rock, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Ann Driver.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 11:00 am at Maplewood Cemetery in Paris, TN, with Rev. Joy Weathersbee officiating.
Burial of cremains will follow the graveside service in Maplewood Cemetery.
