Shirley Ann McDaniel

Shirley Ann McDaniel, age 77 of Paris, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her residence.

She was born in Buena Vista, TN, on December 30, 1948, to the late Herman Baker and the late Lila Mai Nordan Butler.

Shirley married Paul Henry McDaniel on April 17, 1992. Paul Henry survives of Paris, TN.

She was a longtime member of North Stewart Pentecostal Church of God in Dover, TN. She dedicated 30 years of Service to Walmart. She enjoyed watching westerns and tending to her flowers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Michael (Sharlyn) McDaniel and Kim McDaniel, both of Paris, TN; four grandchildren, Bryan (Miranda) French, Austin (Ali) French, Dylan McDaniel, and Karsyn Tubbs; and three great-grandchildren, Ellie French, Damon French, and Payton Woods.

Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Lee Hendrix; two sisters, Morine Cary and Brenda Johnson; and two brothers, E. H. Butler and Gerald Ray Butler.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Her remains are to be cremated. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Joe Page and Terry Kesley officiating.
