Steven Harry Fells

Steven Harry “Steve” Fells, age 71 of Paris, TN, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare- Henry County Hospital.

Steve was born on April 7, 1954, in Manteca, CA, to the late Harry Fells, and the late Lucille Stokes Fells.

On May 25, 1996, he married Patricia Lopes Fells, who survives of Paris, TN.

Steve retired in 2010 as the assistant director of Save Mart Supermarkets Warehouse. Following his retirement, he and his wife, Pat, spent the next decade traveling through all forty-eight continental U.S. states before making Paris, TN, their home in 2020.

He was an avid fisher and baker. He was known for his work as a handyman because he could fix anything. He has a passion for helping people. Steve was loved by everyone and built deep relationships with his closest friends throughout his life.

Steve was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Auxiliary Legion of Mary, and the Knights of Columbus, Gordon Brown Council #7086.

In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by his two sons, Trevor (Dawn) Fells of Odenton, MD, and Justin Fells of Rochester, WA; one brother, Bill (Debbie) Fells of Pittsburg, CA; two grandchildren; and many friends across the country.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Fells, and Wayne Fells.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Martin Orjianioke.

The Knights of Columbus will be serving as pallbearers.

Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.
