Mary Theresa Renee’ “Terri / Hiya” Titkos, age 61, of Paris, passed peacefully Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
Occupationally, Terri was a maker, from milk shakes to auto parts, she worked hard her whole life. But her passion was being a giver, not a taker. She gave of herself daily in every role of her life. She was a baby whisperer who loved caring for and calming children. She loved everyone she met and enjoyed caring for her family and her Sweet Jordan’s family. Terri shared Jesus with everyone she met up until the very end, and she would want you to know Jesus if you don’t know him already. Terri loved playing pickleball and was excited about the new courts being built here in Paris.
Terri was born June 24, 1960 in Camp LeJeune, NC to Joseph Andrew Titkos and Mary Josephine Francis Young Titkos who survive of Columbus, IN.
Besides her parents, she is also survived by six sisters, Trina Titkos of Reno, NV, Tami (Alan) Schwenk of Columbus, IN, Bridget “Tonie” (Gary) Pittman of Dresden, TN, Tricia (Jeff) Eisfelder of Paoli, IN, Tommie (Brad) St. John of Paris, TN, and Tabbi (Dale) Gibbons of Salem, IN; one brother, Joey (Donna) Titkos of Antioch, TN; 18 nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Wesley, Justin, Benjamin, Mariah, William, Wade, Matthew, Meagan, CathyJo, Josh, Jordan, Jeremy, Jessica, Johny, Nicholas, Nathan, and Joey Jr.; and 17 great nieces and nephews, Nolan, Paisley, Rylan, Alexander, Addy, Addison, Carlie, Eli, Ryker, Marley, Amealia, Liam, Margo, Grayson, Alana, JB, Lennon, and two on the way, Baby Schwenk, and Baby Josephine.
Terri was preceded in death by two nieces who met her in heaven, Marybeth Pittman and Chelsea Eisfelder; and also paternal grandparents, Mary Kisida “Nagy Mama” Titkos and Joseph Titkos; and maternal grandparents, Mary C. Donnelly Young, and Baynum Adron Young.
A Celebration of Life for local family and friends will be held Sunday, September 19th, 2021, at Sweet Jordan's from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. A memorial service will be planned with family and friends in Indiana at a later date.
