Terry Morgan

Terry Morgan, age 71 of Paris, TN, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital in Paris, TN.

Terry retired as a dental assistant from Fletcher Dental in 2015. She formerly attended First United Methodist Church of Paris. She enjoyed camping, tending to her flowers, traveling—having visited 49 of the 50 states—crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Terry also found joy in volunteering at the church food pantry and other ministries of the church.

She was born on May 14, 1953, in Chicago, IL, to the late Charles “Red” Spitler and the late Pauline Bain Wood.

Terry married James H. “Jim” Morgan on August 21, 1971, who survives of Paris.

Along with her husband she is also survived by her two children, Jaime (Michael) Hendrix of Paris, TN and Nick Morgan of Juneau, Alaska; two grandchildren, Sophie Hendrix and Elizabeth Hendrix; and two aunts, Suzy Petkus and Nancy Bain both of Batavia, IL.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Swanson.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Her body will be cremated with no services planned at this time. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
