Thomas David Locke age 90 of Murray, KY, died Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence.
Thomas retired out of the United States Armed Forces having served time in both the Army and Air Force. After serving in the military, he worked for over twenty years with the Commonwealth of Kentucky as an investigator for the Medical Board. He was a graduate of Murray State University. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and loving his dogs. Thomas was Christian in faith.
He married Linda Garner Locke April 26, 1990, and she survives of Murray.
Born September 8, 1935, in Campbell, Missouri, he was the son of the late C.C. Locke, and the late Hazel Scott Locke.
Along with his wife, he was also survived by two daughters, Tinamarie Locke of Miami, FL, and Bonnie Locke of Murray; a stepdaughter, Jada (Brian) Kimbro of Murray; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Hope Green; a son, Thomas C. Locke; two sisters, Treval Modelle Locke, and Dorothy Inman; and two brothers, Carrol Gene Locke, and Bobby Dean Locke.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray, KY, after 10:00 am until the time of the service. His funeral service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Murray Memorial Gardens with his nephew Kenny Locke officiating.
Members of the VFW and American Legion will serve as pallbearers.
Entombment with military honors will follow in the Lakeside Mausoleum at the Murray Memorial Gardens.
