Tona Davenport

Tona May Davenport, age 46, of Cottage Grove, TN, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at her residence.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Tona enjoyed watching movies, collecting knick-knacks and attending yard sales. She worked in production control at PML until her health forced her to retire a month ago.

Born July 9, 1971, in Water Valley, MS, she was the daughter of late Mary Cox Steele.

Survivors include her son: Austin Davenport of Cottage Grove; her fiancé: Wayne Brown of Cottage Grove; a sister: Linda Matthews of North Carolina; a brother: Scott Faux of Phoenix, AZ; a godson: Dakota Bratton of Springville; an uncle: Steve Cox of Paris; her best friend for 30 years: Janice Davenport and her former husband: John Davenport both of Springville.

Ridgeway Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Her body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 3 PM at Henry Baptist Church with John Sutton officiating.
