Wanda Webb Scott

Wanda Webb Scott, age 75 of Paris, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at her residence.

Wanda was born in Huntingdon, TN, on September 24, 1951, to the late John Travis Webb, and the late Mary Maxine Thomas Kent.

She married Michael Lee “Mickey” Scott. Mickey preceded her in death on September 18, 2004.

Wanda dedicated more than 30 years to nursing, working in home health, hospice, and skilled nursing administration. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bethel University.

She was Baptist in faith and cherished spending time with her family, especially during the holidays when everyone could gather. She was affectionately known as “Granny” to her family and their friends. She enjoyed thrift shopping, gardening, tending to her flowers and tomatoes, and feeding and watching the birds.

Wanda is survived by two children, Michael (Tracy) Scott and Nikki (Dylan) Harper, both of Paris, TN; two siblings, Kenneth (Christi) Webb and Lyndell (Jerry) Pittman; twelve grandchildren, Tara “Sharp” Scott, Meagan Scott, Caitlynn Scott, Tyler Scott, Emily Scott, Alivia “Clay” Scott, Cheyenne Scott, Macey Scott, Maddie Harper, Maya Harper, Secret (Jay) Odom, and JJ Papaleo; two great-grandchildren, Zailey Ambrose and Carson Barnett; one sister-in-law, Paulette Kent; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and “The Shermans.”

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Connie Brent Perritt and Ed Kent. 

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 1962 Maple Lake Rd, Westport, TN 38387.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Webb, Dylan Harper, Tara “Sharp” Scott, Chris Barnett, Cody Swor, and Jay Odom.
