William "Billy" Bomar, Jr.

William H. “Billy” Bomar, Jr, age 73 of Springville, TN, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at his residence.

Billy formerly worked as a dental lab technician for several years, then later retired from the Henry Farmers Co-Op. He had enjoyed going to St. Louis Cardinal games in years past. He also found much joy in being on the water fishing or out cruising on his motorcycle.

Billy was born in Paris, TN, on February 16, 1952, to the late William Harris Bomar, Sr, and the late Sarah Juanita Debruce Bomar.

He married Linda Darlene McClain Bomar on February 8, 1974, and she survives of Springville, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Susan (Brian) Milliken of Paris, TN and Amber Copeland of Paris, TN; one sister, Sandy Smith of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, David (Denise) Bomar of Paris, TN and Mike Bomar of Springville, TN; five grandchildren, Lakan Evans, Garrete Evans, Ayden Copeland, Jermija Copeland, and Jaryn Copeland; and three great grandchildren, Rylee Thompson, Kylee Evans, and D. J. Copeland.

Along with his parents, Billy was also preceded in death by one sister, Vicky Bomar Quillin; and one brother, Bobby Dale Bomar.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. No public visitation is planned. There will be a graveside service on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Spring Creek Cemetery in Springville, TN with Dennis McClure officiating.
