William Richard "Rick" Vandyke, Jr.

William Richard “Rick” VanDyke, Jr., age 62 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

He was a member of The Restored Church of Jesus Christ in Puryear, TN, and a U.S. Air Force veteran.  Rick loved fishing, watching movies, and spending time with his granddaughter.  He was an avid Miami Dolphins and University of Tennessee fan.

Rick was born December 10, 1959, in Paris, TN, to William Richard VanDyke, Sr., who survives, of Paris, and the late Florine Andrews VanDyke.

Along with his father, he is also survived by his daughter, Maggie VanDyke of Paris; his son, Zach (Alexis) VanDyke of Paris; two brothers, Eddie (Amy) VanDyke of Paris, and Andy (Christy) VanDyke of Paris; and one granddaughter, Vivian Michelle VanDyke.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at The Restored Church of Jesus Christ, 210 Jones Street, Puryear, TN 38251, with Andy VanDyke officiating.
